Ooma is an excellent Voice Over Internet Phone (VOIP) phone solution which means you can cancel your landline phone service and replace it with an Internet-based phone service.  Ooma has services for as low as $5/mo (varies based on your location and government taxes) and by digitizing your phone service you have much better control of how your phones work, you can forward calls to other locations (or the app on your phone), have voicemail messages forwarded to you via email and/or text and much more.  And as long as you have solid internet service, the call quality is great with minimal upfront or ongoing costs.

Ooma also offers a business account that has additional features and an enterprise account that can provide a company auto-attendant (answering service with department and dial by name directory and separate profiles for each line within the company system.
